Savory Sage Stuffing

Something I have made every Thanksgiving for the past four years and is always a hit

Ingredients

1/2 cup melted Butter

3 stalk diced Celery

2 /12 cup Chicken broth

1 large diced White onion

1 package Savory sage sausage roll

14 ounce not instant Cube stuffing

1 teaspoon Poultry seasoning

2 teaspoon Dried sage

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large skillet over medium high heat, crumble sausage and add the onion and celery cook stiring occasionally until sausage is brown
  3. In a 9 by 13 inch casserole dish pour the cubed stuffing and add the cooked sausage mixture on top
  4. Sprinkle with poultry seasoning and the dried sage
  5. Pour the broth and butter over the top of the cubed stuffing and mix to combine
  6. Bake for 45 minutes
