Onward to 1.0

I wanted to provide an update to everyone on the status of OpenEats. The summer months have caused a slow down in development for I have been spending time enjoying the weather. However never fear, most of the major features of OpenEats are complete. The two major things that remain, are the installation wizard, and the Admin interface. We should be ready to release the first release candidate this fall.

I have just updated OpenEats.org with a new unstable test release.  It has all the new features that I have recently added.  I released it in order to find any major bugs prior to the feature freeze.  Some of the new features are

• A newly designed user profile page
• Quick List- a list to add grocery items to that you can quickly add to any grocery list
• Add a recipes ingredients directly to a grocery list
• Pantry List- Add items to your pantry that you do not want added to a grocery list when you add a recipe to said list.
